About Michael The Chairman
Hey, my name is Michael and I am 26 years old.
I call myself The Chairman... cause I'm in a wheelchair... get it?
I’m a sit-down stand-up comedian who will probably offend you at some point...
My life has been a wild ride… it’s had more twists and turns than my spine!
Since birth, I have been confined to a wheelchair due to Marfan syndrome. A connective tissue disorder affecting my heart, spine, joints, eyes… pretty much everything. I’ve been in and out of hospitals fighting to survive for as long as I can remember. Most of my life I was legally blind too…
So I’ve been told my humor is dark… but much like my past self… I don’t see it.
I got called retard a lot in school too… so naturally… I turned to standup… because I’m an oxymoron…
Haha nah, but in all seriousness… if you want to know about me, here is what I can tell you.
I love making people laugh. It has always been my goal, to take the pain, suffering and all worries of this world… showing, through laughter and my writings, the value found in this duality called life… some might have missed.
I believe God has a dark sense of humor… because it brings the darkness to light…
I will take all power, money and influence I gain during my life… and use it for the betterment of others. I have always known this to be my purpose. I live to serve those in need and plan to build systems uplifting people who are always overlooked. I pray every night God guides me to those no one can hear crying for help.
My sole mission… besides being the best husband and father I could be… is to know with my life… no matter how many times I have been and will be knocked down… I will never give up on building a better future for those with and ahead of me.
I truly want the best for everybody… no matter how much I joke.
I want to build a better world… and pay for it with laughter.
I’m just getting started, thank you for coming with me on this journey.
All Love,
